I am currently in network with:
Regence BCBS
United Behavioral Health
Moda
First Choice
Providence
Cigna
I bill insurance as a courtesy, because I want to make therapy as accessible as possible. Clients are responsible for understanding their insurance plan prior to services. I ask that you call your insurance company to verify your insurance coverage with me as a provider, as I cannot guarantee coverage. While I am in network with insurance providers listed, this does not mean that every plan has me in network. I seek to verify benefits prior to our first session, which means that I check to see that your policy is active. I can at times see if you have a deductible, what your co-payment or co-insurance is. However, what I can see is limited, and it is not a guarantee of payment. Please let me know if you are covered by more than one insurance company as well. You may need to call both insurance companies and ask for a “coordination of benefits.”
If I am out of network for your plan and you are interested in being reimbursed by your insurance by what of what is called a “superbill” please call your insurance company and verify what your “out of network” benefits are and if it is possible to use a superbill.
If you do not want to use your insurance and pay “out of pocket” please use the contact form or give me a call to discuss fee for services. I do have a limited number of sliding scale spots that may be available.

If you plan to use insurance for therapy, please provide your complete insurance information prior to scheduling. This allows me to verify your benefits in advance. If you are covered by more than one policy, be sure to provide details for both. Patients with multiple policies are responsible for contacting their insurance companies to coordinate benefits before scheduling therapy. For 55-minute therapy sessions, the fee is $165. As an assessment can take time and is an interactive process, I typically complete the initial assessment over 2 sessions. At this time, my sliding scale slots are full, but please inquire if you do not have insurance and would like to pay cash.
Copays and coinsurance are due at the end of each session. For clients using out-of-network benefits, I will submit superbills as a courtesy. Please note that while I will verify coverage, it is ultimately the patient’s responsibility to confirm their benefits and understand any deductibles, copays, or out-of-pocket expenses. Please call your insurance to verify that I am a covered provider in your specific plan.

Please note that insurance verification is not a guarantee of coverage or payment. You are ultimately responsible for any services not covered by your plan.

If you do not have insurance, your insurance does not cover mental health care, or you are choosing not to involve the insurance company in your therapy for a variety of reasons: you may pay for therapy '“out of pocket”.
I do accept out of pocket payment for psychotherapy. If you do not want to involve insurance in your personal therapy process I am happy to discuss and answer any questions you might have about how we can work together so you can get the therapy you want and need.
My office is accessible via bus, street car, and street parking. Please let me know if you have questions about getting here.
